In a pivotal move to enhance bilateral communication, BESTAO organized and facilitated a delegation from the Hubei Provincial Administration for Market Regulation to visit Australian stakeholders in quality and supervision sectors on December 5 and 6, 2023.

The delegation engaged in a series of meetings with prominent Australian entities, including the Australian Convenience and Petroleum Marketers Association (ACAPMA), the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JASANZ), and Standards Australia (SA). The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including the development of the new energy vehicle industry, Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) concerns, quality infrastructure construction, and collaborative standardization efforts.

Additionally, the delegation extended their interactions to the Shandong Chamber of Commerce, delving into pertinent trade matters between China and Australia.
